Personal - Run Cycle

A first pass on a run that is for personal practice. It actually isn't this janky; the GIF format is making it skip a little. I sent it to my teacher for some advice.

This is a test animation to see how instrusive a bunch of flapping dragons is in a VR setting.

RPP4 - Pirate Walk Cycle

This is my first 2D animation for a human! It took so much time. I'm happy with the result, but next time I am definitely going to try using a skeleton instead of hand drawing every single frame.

Mailing a Letter - Pass 1 Block out

Our assignment was to either lift a weight or mail a letter. I wanted to do  something a little different so I chose to mail a letter by pigeon. This is a base block out of the key poses of the animation. I am having some trouble orienting the letter once it is transferred to the bird near the end. I think I may need to create my own bird rig also; this one's legs don't move correctly when landing.

A screenshot of Zelda and the bird because they are cute.

RPP 4 Character concept

Concept for pirate character. The plan is to have a choice between male and female, so this is the latter.

Some other colors I thought about:

Animation Irish Dance Pass 3

I really haven't changed much again. This last RPP round burnt me out. I do think her weight has improved and I added small details like head and finger movement. My instructor wanted me to translate this animation, but the way I initially keyed her hips and feet made the whole process difficult and messy, so I opted to just clean up the static.
